‘Moni’ has been the most well-known and well-recognized player in Romanian Basketball in the last 30 years. She has accomplished a lot as a professional basketball player since she has played in several European Championships with the Romanian Senior National team. She had 270 selections while also showing her high level in Romanian and other European club teams. Nowadays, she is working as a coach and she has started a basketball academy in Arad, Romania. We are extremely fortunate that she has become one of our VIBBALL ambassadors and joined our VIBBALL family.
I was 8 years old when I started to play basketball.
First of all, basketball brought into my life a lot of Joy and satisfaction!
My best experiences in my career was my “all Champion title’, but the first and last title are unforgettable.
From my failures I learned never to give up! (“those who win never give up;those who give up never win!”)….
My connection to VIBBALL Echternach is with founder and coach Ildiko Vass! We were teammates for the național team of Romania and the club team Sepsi Szentgyorgy and I’m proud to be part of the project!
